Project management basics
One of the greatest difficulties in managing large projects is that you have to bring many different people together and reach your objectives. Time, costs, personnel and many other influencing factors make large and - or international projects seam like trying to catch thousands of falling balls.
But as a project manager you will agree that it is exactly that why you are doing this job. Is it the kick or the thrill of achieving success that keeps you going in difficult times. But the larger the project the more you need besides your soft skills and great people.
This can be a combination of regular meetings and project management tools. Costs are defined by investment in time, personnel, training, technology and project related travelling.
