Final Review
Are you new to ASP? Have you been working with ASP on the IIS 4.0/5.0
and want to explore the wide ans fascinating features of ASP.NET????
Then take these 750 pages of ASP knowledge to master this new
environment. Learn to create code-behind classes or performing
transforms with XSLT and XHTML.
The enclosed CD contains all the source code files for the
projects used in the book.
You also get a fully searchable electronic edition of the book which
can become quite handy when developing code.
Jones has put quite a lot of knowledge into this heavy book.
Explaining his way to work with ASP.NET and creating code with Visual
Basic .NET - he makes it easy to the reader to build up the skills
to know what they are doing.
It is quite a lot of work but every page you read is an investment
worth while. His code examples are clean and do not resemble
the messy code other books often tend to make the reader loose
hope.
Jones has structured the information in-side 5 blocks containing a
total of 24 chapters - helping you to build a powerful web application.
A problem with some web forms is that there's no easy way to get directly
to a specific control. For some forms you might find it easier
to set the Access key and TabIndex properties into the code.
How to do this is explained by Jones in chaper 13 on page 371!
How does VB.Net generate a test page? How ...
Jones will tell you this and many more in this vast guide through
ASP.NET. |
