Have you acquired a new iphone 4 or a blackberry torch?
Wonderful mobile phones. You should get yourself one, but be ware of a potential shock. Do not underestimate the traffic cost of new smart phones.
Recently, I had the opportunity to replace my old blackberry pearl phone with a fantastic blackberry torch phone. I started adding apps and fooling around with the webservice. Then it was time to attach my phone to our company’s BES service. Syncronizing my emails, contacts and diary was great.
Then the shock came. An amount of 35MB was used within the first 10 days of having received this new phone. This meant a 127 Euro bill for having indulged in the enjoyment of exploring the new mobility of a smart phone. Then I found out, I had used an additional traffic volume which would amounted to a 2nd phone bill of 60+ €. Hence, I used in 15 Days nearly 200 € worth of data services.
So keep an eye on your service plan. Some plans only include 1 MB. So this should alert you to move on to a flat rate or greater volume, as 1MB will never be sufficient to protect you from a shocking phone bill.
